Students in Coach McKay’s 6th Grade Design and Modeling Class enjoyed a project that helped them improve their measurement skills to ensure accurate performance. Students were instructed to build a paper skimmer to be launched. If students made their skimmer per the correct measurements given, the skimmer would launch accurately. Once students completed their build, they launched their skimmer to see which student had the best and most accurate performance.
