Last school year, Washington High School added a Newspaper elective to their roster. Ms. Dawn Lanham has led this group of young reporters, and the articles they print are impressive. Every week, an edition of the Warrior Times is released and listed on the school website and social media pages. Students take turns writing articles that consist of a senior spotlight, sports, current events, recipes, an opinion column, and other topics. Students from sophomore to seniors work hard to improve their writing and interview skills.
