Back to School Information 2022/2023

 

As a reminder, WPS enrollment is for ALL STUDENTS, new and returning. Please check our enrollment days below and what you need to provide. Open House will not be an enrollment night. It will be a meet your teacher night, where students and parents can enjoy the evening meeting teachers and visit with the community without worrying about paperwork.

Enrollment Dates & Times

 

Elementary PK: 

Aug. 9, Orientation 5 pm@Cafeteria

PK Practice Day Wed. Aug. 10, 9 am last A-M, 1:30 pm, N-Z. 

Elementary K-5: 

Aug. 2-5, 8:30 am -3 pm or August 8, 1-6 pm @Main Office

 

Middle School Grades 6-8:

Aug. 4, 6 Orientation @MAC Camp Warrior-5:30-6:30 pm

Aug. 8, 7/8 Schedule Pick Up 4-6 pm @MAC

 

High School:

Aug. 2, 8:30am-6:00 10th & 12th @ HS Commons

Aug. 4, 8:30am-6:00 9th & 11th @ HS Commons

 

 

THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE REQUIRED ANNUALLY FOR ENROLLMENT:

• Two Proofs of Residency: 

First, either property deed/lease agreement (Current)

(If leasing, all children and adults must be listed on the lease.)

Second, gas, electric, or water bill, dated within the past 30 days, showing your name and matching service address. (No cutoff Notices Allowed)

• Updated Immunization Record or a completed Exemption form

• Parent/Guardian Contact Info Updates

• (HS Only) 1:1 Chromebook Checkout Form

 

 

Please contact your child's school before August 11 if you cannot attend the scheduled enrollment events. No class schedule or assignment will be issued without completing the enrollment process.

CLASS TIME SCHEDULE 22-23

Schedule for Middle School and High School 

First Bell: 8:20 am

1st Period 8:25 am

2nd Period 9:20 am

3rd Period 10:15 am

4th Period 11:10 am

 Lunch 12:00 pm

5th Period 12:35 pm

6th Period 1:30 pm

7th Period 2:25 pm

Elmentary Students will line up to enter class at 8:20 am. Elementary School will begin promptly at 8:25 am. Elementary release will start at 3:15 pm. Buses will leave at 3:25 pm. Elementary lunch times will vary depending on grade.
