My name is Melinda Tague. I was not born and raised here, but since moving back to Washington with my husband and sons thirteen years ago, that is exactly what it feels like. As every year goes by, we find more reasons to love this small town. Serving as a member of the Washington School Board for the past two years has been a privilege. Continuing the strong values and traditions of our community and school remain a focus of the Washington School Board, while offering our students the best opportunities in and out of the classroom.
I have been an Agricultural Education Instructor for the past 23 years and the past 13 years in Norman Public Schools. My family also runs a commercial cattle operation together in Washington. My husband, David, and I have two sons. Our oldest son is a graduate of Washington High School, and our youngest is currently enrolled in high school.
